Basic Requirements
Getting started with the PPVFD is easy ...
- At least 16 years of age (JR Program) At least 18 years of age for firefighter program
- No training required for new members
- Complete application to include full criminal background check
- Participation in our duty shift program, including one Truck check per month, and our schedule trainings as required by our Bylaws.
- Attendance at monthly meetings and occasional special events
